Q: Can I host my private event at Gridiron Hall?

A: Yes. Gridiron Hall may be rented for private events such as wedding receptions, corporate events, non-profit events and social events. The Indianapolis Colts Indoor Practice Field may be rented for football tournaments, scrimmages, high school sporting practices, etc. subject to usage and availability.

Q: What is the cost to rent the Gridiron Hall or Indianapolis Colts Indoor Practice Field?

A: Please contact an events representative by submitting a request form. An events representative will be in contact with you within 48 hours of your inquiry date.

Q: How many can be seated in Gridiron Hall?

A: Gridiron Hall can accommodate up to 450 seated depending on a number of factors, including: food setup, dance floor, activations, etc.

Q: When is the venue deposit required?

A: Upon signing of the contract, the full non-refundable room rental balance is due. Acceptable forms of payment are check, cashier's check, and credit card.

Q: Does Gridiron Hall have a curfew?

A: Yes, all events must end by 11pm. If you would like to extend your event until midnight, additional fees will apply.

Q: Do you have a location for a wedding ceremony?

A: Ceremonies may take place on the Harriet P. Irsay Memorial Golf Course or the indoor practice field, subject to availability. Chairs for the ceremony are an additional fee. In order to host your ceremony on-site, you also must host your reception on-site.

Q: What size tables & how many chairs do you offer?

A: We have 66" round tables which comfortably seat 8-10 guests per table. We also include up to 15-8' banquet tables for registration, DJ, buffet, etc and 20 cocktail tables. Table linen is rented in through our exclusive caterer for an additional fee. We supply up to 450 banquet chairs for your event scheduled to take place in Gridiron Hall. Chairs for wedding ceremony are an additional fee.

Q: May I bring in my own caterer?

A: All food and beverage must be provided by the Colts exclusive caterer.

Q: Is there a food and beverage minimum?

A: Yes. The food and beverage minimum is the minimum amount of dollars that you are required to spend on catered food and beverage during your event. Cash bars will not count towards the food and beverage minimum.

Q: Does alcohol count towards the food and beverage minimum?

A: Beverage packages count towards the food and beverage minimum. Cash bars do not count toward the minimum.

Q: Does the food and beverage minimum include tax, service charge, and gratuity?

A: Tax, service charge, and gratuity are not included in the food and beverage minimum. Gratuity is at your discretion and not expected.

Q: Can I bring in my own cake?

A: You can bring in your own wedding cake from a licensed baker.

Q: Is linen included with the cost of venue rental?

A: Linen, china, glass and silver are an additional fee through Club's exclusive caterer.

Q: Is there onsite parking?

A: Gridiron Hall has 180 dedicated onsite parking spaces and six ADA parking spaces. Additional parking spaces may be available depending on event date, event timing, shuttle service, etc.

Q: What time can I access the space?

A: Unless otherwise reserved, Gridiron Hall is open for access two hours prior to the event start time unless prior arrangements are made with the Colts.

A: Can I hire my own vendors?

Q: A list of preferred vendors will be provided once the use agreement is signed. However, food and beverage must be provided by the Colts exclusive caterer. Markey's Audio Visual is exclusive to Gridiron Hall. All rentals must be supplied by our exclusive caterer or Gridiron Hall event management team, this include but not limited to linens, china, chairs, tents, etc. All other vendors such as Florist, DJ, and Photographer are left up to the client. We strongly recommend choosing a vendor that is on our recommended vendor list.

Q: What does your event staff take care of the day of my event?

A: Gridiron Hall staff is responsible for set-up and take-down of all tables and chairs. They also maintain the facility's cleanliness throughout your event. They are not responsible for catering or dinner service, setting or removing linens, décor set-up, take-down, and packaging of rentals/décor at event end. We recommend an event or wedding planner to oversee those details.

Q: Do I need to purchase event insurance?

A: A certificate of liability insurance adding Indianapolis Colts as an additional rider is required. Specifics are outlined in the user agreement.

Q: Are my vendors required to provide insurance

A: All vendors bringing equipment into our venue must provide the Colts with certificate of liability insurance adding the Indianapolis Colts as an additional rider, no less than $1,000.000. This included but not limited to, Florist, DJ, Bands, Photo booth, etc.
