Anthony Richardson was on the field for two plays with Jonathan Taylor in 2023. 

Before Richardson's rookie season was prematurely ended in Week 5, he'd accounted for seven touchdowns.

While Anthony Richardson's rookie season was limited to just four games, his coaches and teammates all observed encouraging signs from the 2023 No. 4 overall pick. 

Richardson had surgery on his right throwing shoulder on October 24.

The rest of Richardson's rookie-year development will have to take place behind the scenes, as the team announced Wednesday the 2023 No. 4 overall pick will undergo season-ending shoulder surgery. 

Even in limited action, Steichen saw plenty of encouraging things from the 2023 No. 4 overall pick. 

Richardson started four games as a rookie and completed 50 of 84 passes for 577 yards. 

The Colts made the roster moves on Wednesday.
